FOLLOWING JESUS

”And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jer. 29:13).
Jesus has met me with his indescribable love.
That is why Jesus is my great passion, Whom I want to follow and honor with my heart!
I am so thankful – like millions of other people around the globe!
Jesus is not just a historic example to follow.
He is infinitely more than this.
It is not possible to describe Him with words!
IS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING to know HIM!
He is real, and He wants to be real to you!
He will give to you what you need the most and more than you are aware of needing! People may let you down, but Jesus will never let you down!
A disciple is someone who has been won by His heavenly love.
That love is a continuous source of healing in our lives.
Is life then a bed of roses?
No. We are in the middle of a spiritual battle. And we need to learn how to use the spiritual weapons that God has given to us. The Bible and the Holy Spirit teaches us how. When darkness hits us, we must stand on the promises of God and on the victory, Jesus won, until the light flows in our lives yet again. Gratitude and praising God lifts us up. Praying with others that carry the life of the Holy Spirit on the inside of them releases more of the power of God – like charcoal in a close formation. A foundational thing is that good hears our prayers. It is also foundational that He wants to help us in our struggle!
When we listen to Him and trust in Him, we will always be victorious.
Oh, that My people would listen to Me, that Israel would walk in My ways! I would soon subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their adversaries! (Psalm 81:13-14).
As disciples of Jesus, we live by the power of Him and in the light of His Word! Personal repentance from anything that is not pleasing to Him is a natural part of our walk. We do not take our own way. We always turn to Him! He has purchased us with His own blood, and the devil no longer has power over us.
Jesus sends us out into this world with the power of the kingdom of God, and when we do His will and walk in love, the light will be victorious! He is always faithful, and He will teach us that we can always trust in His Word. The Holy Spirit is our inspiration and strength!
There are millions of true disciples on the earth today. The number of Christians grows explosively in Asia, Africa, Australia, the Pacific Islands, Central and South America. In China, during the last 60 years, more than 98 million Christians have been added despite of great persecution. In Iran (among many other countries) Christians are also being persecuted for their faith. I personally know a young Iranian, Farshid Fathi, who is in prison for preaching about Jesus. Still, each year, tens of thousands of Iranians are becoming disciples of Jesus! Thousands of Muslims experience revelations of Jesus through dreams, whereafter they choose to convert, even though it is risky for them.
If you choose to become a disciple here in Denmark, it might mean that some people will not understand you. But it is a small price to pay! The things that you let go of God will richly recompense. This is a promise from Jesus. To follow Jesus with all your heart is the only way to experience true freedom and lasting joy.
When Jesus has won us over with His love, a whole new dimension of meaning and purpose opens in our lives. This is one of the great secrets of the living Christian faith. I feel like the richest person on earth because I have Jesus. Disciples of Jesus are the recipients of the greatest privileges in the world, and no one can ever strip you of these privileges! You do not find life in living for yourself, but in living for Him who loved you and gave Himself for you!
